Before winter
One Visit, A Straight Answer Before Winter
Fluids, filters, belts, hoses, lights, wipers, the battery, brakes and tires, looked at together, with a plain answer on what needs doing now.
Chapter 01
Everything that keeps a car safe, looked at together
A full service and safety check means the fluids get checked, not just topped off: oil, coolant, brake fluid, power steering if the car still uses it. Filters come out if they are due. Belts and hoses get a look for cracking or glazing, because those tend to fail without warning once they go. Lights, wipers and the battery get tested rather than guessed at, and brakes and tires are checked at the same time, because a car with good brakes on bald tires is not actually a safe car.
It is a longer look than any one of those jobs on its own, and that is the point. Catching a belt that is starting to crack, or a battery that is reading weak, is only useful if someone is actually looking for it before it fails on the road between Yakima and Union Gap.

One visit, a straight answer
Juan does the whole check in one visit, then tells you what actually needs doing now and what can wait another month or two. That is the part customers mention: not a scare, not a wall of line items, just what matters and what does not.
Robert Elder wrote that when his friend's bill for the full service and safety check came in, it was about half of what she had expected. She told him afterward that she could not believe how straight Juan had been with her about the cost.
Chapter 03
Why this is a fall job, not a spring one
Robert Elder's review was timed to the season on purpose: his friend brought her car in as they were heading into fall and winter, the stretch when a weak battery, worn wipers and tires with thin tread stop being a minor annoyance and start being the reason a car does not start on a cold morning.
Cold pulls cranking power out of a battery that was already borderline, and it stiffens wiper blades and lowers tire pressure right when visibility and grip matter most. Booking the check before the first cold snap, instead of after, is what keeps a car running through a Yakima winter instead of stalling partway through one.
